Project Runway Synopsis
Project Runway
is an acclaimed competitive reality show that aired for five seasons on Bravo and will move to Lifetime starting with its sixth season. It pits aspiring fashion designers against each other in a series of challenges to decide who will win a prize of $100,000, among other things.
The series is hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum, who is also a judge. Other regulars are mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. Each episode also features a special guest judge. Previous winners are Jay McCarroll, Chloe Dao, Jeffrey Sebelia, Christian Siriano, and Leanne Marshall.
Season six of Project Runway has completed production and will begin airing on Lifetime in August. Casting for the seventh season is already underway.
