The 2005 anime Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu is the sequel to the 1976 series Gaiking.The series follows a boy named Daiya Tsuwabuki, who comes to pilot a giant robot called Gaiking.Daiya works with the crew of the Daiku-Maryu to battle giant monsters.
