Ax Men
(also known as Axe Men in some markets) is the latest series in the “tough guys doing dangerous jobs” TV genre. It documents the thrills and dangers of several logging crews in the Pacific Northwest.
The show portrays how these crews adapt their long-standing traditions with new technology and methods. The two crews from season one will be joined by three new crews, one of which uses diving loggers to harvest underwater timber.
The History Channel aired the first season of Ax Men in 2008. The UK has also picked up the series, airing it on The History Channel UK and later on Channel Five. Season two premieres in the US on March 2 at 10:00 pm Eastern/9:00 Central. There will be 12 episodes in season two.
