Nigel Dacre Quits Ten Alps To Set Up A Service For Internet TV Channels - Inclusive DigitalNigel Dacre has quit his role as managing director of Bob Geldof’s production company Ten Alps to set up a new venture wholly based on helping internet television channels succeed.

Dacre, a former editor of ITV News had been at Ten Alps for five years, during which time he helped set up digital service Teachers TV, and then oversaw the launch of both Public TV and Kent TV.

While he will remain as a consultant at Ten Alps, he is leaving his main role to concentrate on a new business specialising in developing and launching internet TV channels.

“I’ve very much enjoyed my time at Ten Alps. It’s an inspirational company to work for. But I’ve got of lot of ideas on internet TV projects, and this seems the right time to branch out on my own,”

“The internet TV business is growing at a rapid pace, and I think the next 12 months will be crucial in the development of the sector.”

Inclusive Digital

The new company is named Inclusive Digital, and already has plans for two new channels to be launched next year.

It seems that more and more influential people are realising that internet television is the media of the future, with Dacre a well known name in media circles now throwing his hat in the ring.

The fact that he has left a well paid job at a high profile production company to concentrate solely on internet TV projects shows his commitment to the cause. And even more obviously, it proves there is money to be made in the sector.
