Black20, an NYC-based online video production company, has received angel investment from Jeff Jarvis. The site, co-founded by two NBC creatives among others, got a gushing writeup in NYTimes last week.
The company describes itself as “a team of young writers and producers dedicated to creating broadband content that you might actually want to watch.”
The Black20 team now produces daily comedy shorts for the site, including a workplace comedy called “net_work,” a mockumentary series called “The Middle Show” and a news parody called “BLACK20 News.”
